To provide hope to Michigan Rett Syndrome families, MRSF is committed to offering a monthly $250 family grant to support families affected by Rett Syndrome (or similar rare disorders).

Michigan Rett Syndrome Foundation is committed to giving back to Michigan Rett Syndrome Families, as well as other related disorders.  Each month a family will be selected to receive a $250 grant to help with Rett Syndrome related needs. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Confirmed diagnosis of Rett Syndrome (or related disorder)
  • Applicant must be parent, guardian, caregiver of the individual with Rett Syndrome
  • Reside within Michigan
  • Have identified need related to Rett Syndrome

Grant Purpose:

  • To alleviate financial burdens related to the care of quality of life of a person with Rett Syndrome, such as, medical needs, home modifications, transportation needs, communication needs, etc.ย 

Application Requirements:

  • Completed application form
  • Explanation of hardship/need
  • A brief statement about how the grant will impact the child/family.

Funding Amount & Distribution:

  • Grant is $250ย 
  • Payment will be mailed to the address provided

Follow Up:

  • Family will be asked to submit a brief impact statement explaining how the funds were used for anonymous website/social media post.ย ย
